Methods in teaching English introductory Questions — Purpose:
To learn introductory questions we can ask someone we have just met.

In pairs, have the students brainstorm 5 questions you can ask someoneyou`ve just met. Give them 5-10 minutes to do this.
2. Have each pair write their questions on the board. If their level is high, have each pair write a unique question from every other pair. Thus getting up to the board quickly is a good idea! If they write the same question as another pair they must change it.
3. Go over the questions on the board with the class and write corrections as needed.
4. Have them write down all the questions.
5. Rotating Pairs: In rotating pairs, ask each other the questions. Make sure each person has 4 or 5 different partners.
6. Assign Homework: Tell the students to study the questions we wrote down and that next class we will have a quiz. Quiz: They must write ten questions to asksomeone they`ve just met.

Another Homework Idea: (for the following class)
Have them answer the questions they wrote down from the board and answer them. Then make a “Find Someone Who…” activity from it and practice itduring another class.
